My Areas At Xavier University Xavier University Center for Catholic Education The Center for Catholic Education is one way that Xavier specifically promotes its identity and heritage by assisting Catholic schools in the transmission of the faith and the development of Catholic education. Xavier Center for Excellence in Education The Xavier Center for Excellence in Education (XCEED) opened its doors in August 1998. Today XCEED offers consulting services for education and outstanding professional development programs for in-service educators. Secondary Education Program The Secondary Education Program offers degree programs that are approved by the Ohio Board of Regents and licensure programs that are approved by the Ohio Department of Education. All programs are accredited by CAEP, Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation.
