My Areas of Responsibility Xavier University I serve as a full Professor and Executive Director of the Education Centers. Ohio Council of Teacher of Mathematics I have served the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics as State Tournament of Mathematics Contest Coordinator for over 25 years. I also author the Contest Corner column for the Ohio Journal of School Mathematics. Cincinnati Observatory Center I am Past President of the Board of Trustees. The Cincinnati Observatory is a National History Landmark and the oldest observatory in the United States. It has a mission to promote science education and history/preservation. The Astronomical League I serve as Chair of Education for the National Astronomical League as well as Regional Representative for the Great Lakes Region.
